All I need is a chip and a chair
Well, I still havn’t done much this summer. But that will be changing soon. Football workouts start tomorrow, and by the end of this weak I’ll be in Canada catching 50 pound salmon. As of now, the only thing I’ve done is play poker, at which I have thrown $140 in the last weak alone. However, i find solace in knowing that no matter how boring and dull my life gets, it’s still infinatly more amusing than the daily grind those in the know call ’school’.
I did manage to finally get out there and buy ‘Stadium Arcadium’, the hit new album from Red Hot Chili Peppers. I’m actaully a little dissapointed. Although Dani California gets a little better every time I hear it, the rest of the CD (actually, 2 CD’s) just isn’t up to ‘Californication’ standards. However, I also bought some CD’s that were excellent buys. ‘International Superhits’ by Green Day is a fantastic compilation of Green Day’s hits. Also Paul Oakenfold’s ‘A Lively Mind’ is just plain good music, if you enjoy electronic-music. I recommend it to anyone who even thinks they might like it.
