Last night was the mardi gras festival. It was, to say the least, a waste of time and money. The dance team didn’t show up, we won, but not before we made complete asses out of ourselves. I put an absurd amount of tickets into the casual day raffle, and didn’t win. that dumb indian put 2 in the Ipod raffle, and one. My voice still hasn’t completely recoverd from screaming “anyone but neil” in the most obnoxious voice i could create. how very, very wrong. This just proves that “lady luck” pities the impossibly stupid. I might add that this is 2 years after neil won at the Middle and Upperschool combined raffle. It was only licorice, but that’s alot more than i have ever won.
Enough about last night. today i went bowling, with kevin. I bowled 2 games over 100, in a row. that may not sound like much, but when compared to my much more avarage games after that of 80-somthing and 69, it seems a little more impressive. NOw if you’ll excuse me, i have a lot of nothing that needs to be done.
tomarrow is the mardi gras festival. Inticing. Jason and some others put up flyers promoting the dancesquad. People, this is serious shit. you all get to see a selection of the dumbest freshmen act in what can only be described as having a seizure while standing. We challanged the varsity dance team. If they show up, we’re screwed, in a good way though. gnite.null
Alright. the only thing that mattered today was the assembely. 6 or 7 of the dance squad members made there way to the podium as students were called up. What happened next…..magic. After a breif and uninspiring introduction my Kris, Naveen and Jason stepped up to give one of the most lack luster speeches i’ve ever heard. I loved it. Every one in the audience save for me and Brian had a stunned, and “what the fuck” look on their face. so, to augment the mood a little, I gave the most enthusiastic stading ovation i could muster, sending Keila into a manic laughing fit in which he wet himself….twice. Now that i am done outragously exagerating my story, i’ll tell you about the rest of my day (A murmur of excitement runs through the studio audience) French was fun, cause nothing was accomplished, and me and Keila just kinda laughed at our own stupidity, further distancing ourselves from common logic. History kicked ass (now the studio audience gasps in shock and horror). Every “team” represented a famous, dead Mongol. We kicked ass, though Mrs. Liberty will rig the voting and we won’t win. The rest of my classes were uninteresting. And i had Abry’s for dinner, making this a fantastic wensday.
Im in history, trying to figure out if this thing works. Brian says he fixed it. i hate Mrs Liberty. She is undoubtedly going to keep us into lunch. god damnit. i have a famous mongol to research.
Hey look! I’m like everybody else!
So here i find myself, making one of these “web logs”, which i will refer to as a fancy ass web thingy, or just web thingy for short. Muchos Gracias to Brian for being internet adept. Don’t expect any deep thoughts or the such, this is just a spot for me to compile the interesting things that happen during the day, which i will post down there, in the “2ndary section”. Oh hurray.
